Job Function:
The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting all cost accounting duties required within the manufacturing organization. The Financial Analyst is also responsible for supporting the delivery of the highest quality product at the lowest possible cost.
Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluate work order accounting issues and assist in resolving material receiving and usage issues.
- Responsible for establishing accurate cost standards for our products.
- Effectively communicate to leadership inventory revaluation and PPV impacts.
- Prepare and complete internal cycle counts and cost audits.
- Provides analysis for forward-looking financial and business-related projects often working closely with Operations.
- Prepares budgets/forecasts and analysis of trends in manufacturing and other related areas.
- Provide financial and internal control support to a wide range of individuals and departments throughout the organization.
- Ongoing analysis of inventory and production variances that results in follow-up and resolutions of findings.
- Involves acquiring knowledge of BOMs and clearly communicating the impact of raw material component changes.
- Assists with monthly general ledger close, compiling of financial statements, and commentary on financial results, including preparation of inventory reserves and reconciliations.
- Works with the operation to identify cost savings opportunities and track progress.
- This position supports multiple locations, periodic travel required.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:
- Bachelor’s degree Accounting or Finance, required.
- Experience in ERP systems such as SAP.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Knowledge of US GAAP basic principles and elements of internal controls.
- Understanding of manufacturing accounting environment.
- Requires the ability to gather and analyze data and come to logical supportable conclusions.
- Requires clear and persuasive communication, both written and oral.
- Well, organized with strong time management skills and attention to detail.
- Must follow through on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement of technical and leadership skills.
- This position requires the ability to work with people at all levels of the Company.
