PgP5 Plant is Bosch Group’s newest expansion in Malaysia a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan Penang. The construction has begun in May 2021 and first series of production to commence in 2023. With the long-term forecasts for growth of semiconductor component quantities, coupled with the front-end production in Bosch’s Dresden facility in Germany, capacity expansion is required for the back-end production, which is the final testing phase of semiconductors and sensors. PgP5 will primarily focus on the final testing of components manufactured at Bosch Automotive Electronics’ fab in Dresden, Germany. The plant will also house R&D and training facilities.

Job Overview
Financial Analyst & Controlling Executive is a process-oriented expert in data analyses, reporting and IT-systems. They efficiently carry out routine tasks of standard reporting (data collection, data validation, plausibility check & report generation). In this function, they also apply strong analytical skills to evaluate the financial data and translate multi-functional information into insights. They also conduct ad hoc requests in cooperation with Business Partners and improve processes continuously.
Job Description
1. Planning, controlling and analytical tasks:
- Detailed planning in SAP systems
- Generation of actual data
- Responsibility for data quality (consistency and completeness)
- Plausibility check of reports
- Identification and correction of errors
- Costs and KPIs tracking & controlling
2. Coordination and execution of standard reporting processes
- Ensure on time delivery of data and reports e.g. MBR/ CF/ BP
3. Collection, processing and consolidation of data and reports for stakeholders
- Standard RB-Reporting
- Organizational-specific reporting
- Reports to external authorities
4. Involve in Business Plan and Current Forecast preparation.
5. Conduct ad hoc requests in cooperation with Business Partner.
6. Drive the digitalization transformation and implementation.
7. Collecting requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to establish and implement the digitalization plan of Controlling department.
8. Working in close collaboration with other departments, Bosch locations and Central team.
9. Improve processes continuously.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years to 5 years working experience preferable in the semiconductor & manufacturing industry in cost controlling is preferred
- At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred
- Possess strong communication skills and able to integrate well with people of all levels with good interpersonal relationship
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills with a continuous improvement process oriented
- Experience with SAP especially Controlling (CO) is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Tableu & Power BI
- Strong sense of responsibility with high initiative and self-attitude towards change & continuous improvement
- High level of integrity, initiative and result oriented with an eye to detail person
