As a Financial Analyst in our Finance team, you will spend each day defining, refining, and delivering set goals for our firm.
The CBB Finance team in Bengaluru supports the Consumer and Business Banking segment by offering Financial Reporting, Planning, Modeling, and Analysis services to various internal customers, including Finance and Business Management leads and field finance teams. You will be part of the Real Estate Finance team, responsible for providing support for Consumer Bank Real Estate, Global Real Estate, and other stakeholder teams. In this role, you will develop a deep understanding of the branch real estate business and financial principles to assess channel performance and make recommendations. You will perform proactive analysis on branch performance to provide insights and recommendations for target setting for new branches and help drive critical business decisions by analyzing metrics and designing reports.
Job Responsibilities

  • Execute financial modeling for real estate activities, including new builds, relocations, consolidations, branch purchases, property redevelopments, and dispositions, with approximately $1B in capital spend.
  • Support analysis of existing branch performance to provide recommendations on funding decisions for opening new branches, consolidating branches, purchase versus lease options, and branch relocations.
  • Execute new reports based on business needs and develop processes to automate reporting.
  • Support automation and other projects aimed at streamlining existing and new processes to provide key insights to the CFO and evaluate funding decisions.
  • Develop a strong business understanding and identify key metrics that drive the decision-making process.
  • Maintain complete databases for subsequent analysis and establish processes to ensure accuracy.
  • Summarize the drivers behind branch performance, including profitability, break-even, and payback periods.
  • Continuously focus on improving and maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
  • Support standard reports as well as ad-hoc reporting requests.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the models and key metrics that drive the decision-making process.


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Qualified CA/ MBA or equivalent degree in Accounting/Finance
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Financial Planning or Modelling
  • Good communication and strong excel skills.
  • Advance excel skill including VBA and Essbase
  • Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation
  • Positive attitude and demonstrate intellectual curiosity.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
