Role Overview: In line with our agenda to grow the business year on year, we have a lot of development and expansion plan in the pipeline. In order to effectively support and maintain these expansion plan, having a dedicated resources to focus on ensuring a smooth day-to-day operation of the business is very crucial.Finance Trainee role will focus on:
- Reviewing the tax invoices and tax receipts from the suppliers
- Assisting to process the payments
- Reviewing the expense reimbursements from cross-functions
- Any Line Manager’s assigned projects
Details ResponsibilitiesReview Tax invoices and receipts from suppliers and process payments
- Reivew Tax invoices and receipts from suppliers as per governance controls and local tax laws on monthly basis and process for posting
- Submit tax receipts to internal tax team for declaration purpose.
- Advise team for compliance and better way of working
- Assist to process the payments
Review expense claims and advance
- Review the expense claims and advance requests from cross functions and check the supporting accuracy and correctness
- Submit the approval for claims and advance requests to financial controller
Monitor exchange rate to protect business
- Work with Banks and update the Management for daily exchange rates for foreign currency
- Highlight to Management for fluctuations
Support for Audit
- Support data for Tax Audit, External Audit
Key Skills and Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or other related fields
- Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Excel
- Strong Communication skill, Time Management, and stakeholder engagement
- Commitment, Accuracy, Efficiency and Accountability
- Ability to build relationships internally and externally and good team player.
- Attention to details and adaptability to work under timeline
