The Finance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the whole financial operations of Istituto Marangoni Riyadh ensuring compliance with both KSA regulations and Group, and supporting the School & Education Director with financial planning and analysis.

This role requires a hands-on approach to managing daily financial activities while implementing best practices for a start-up and fast-growing organization.

The Finance Supervisor will be in charge of managing the department and ensure the School and Group financial results.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Planning and Analysis

  • Conduct financial analysis on revenue, direct costs, and operational expenses to ensure financial health.

  • Monitor cash collection and cash flow forecasts, providing proactive recommendations.

  • Support in identifying opportunities to enhance profitability and financial efficiency.

  • Provide financial insights and reporting to the management team for informed decision-making.

  • Assist in defining and resolving financial challenges specific to a start-up environment.

2. Financial Reporting and Compliance

  • Oversee and validate accounting records to ensure accuracy and compliance with Saudi financial regulations.

  • Ensure adherence to IFRS standards and internal financial policies.

  • Supervise the work of external accountants and auditors, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.

  • Guarantee the preparation of financial statements, tax filings, and compliance reports.

  • Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary financial documents.

  • Oversee bank reconciliations, expense tracking, and petty cash management.

3. Budget and Forecasting

  • Prepare monthly and annual budgets, ensuring alignment with company objectives and Group standards.

  • Conduct variance analysis to track financial performance against forecasts.

  • Guarantee cost control initiatives and resource allocation.

  • Provide recommendations to enhance financial planning strategies based on data-driven insights.

Education & Professional Skills

  • Experience:  from 3+ to 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably within a start-up or fast-paced environment.

  • Language Skills: Arabic Native. Proficiency in English.

  • Nationality: Saudi nationality is a plus.

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • ICT Tools: Office Suite proficiency.

  • Organizational Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • International Mindset: Open to work in an international environment and in a star-up company.
