As a Finance Project and System Accountant, you will place a crucial role in supporting the PPG Shared Finance Services team with a variety of projects across PPG finance and system landscape. You will be reporting to the Director Shared Financial Services, based in UOA Shah Alam.
Main Responsibilities

System Migrations : Assisting in the seamless migration of financial systems.

Data Analytics and Cleansing : Developing processes and tools to analyze and cleanse financial data, ensuring completeness, accuracy and integrity.

User Testing : Developing and conducting thorough testing of financial systems to ensure functionality and reliability

Finance Transformation : Identifying and driving initiatives to enhance and modernize Shared Financial Services operations

Continuous Improvement : Continuously seeking opportunities to improve finance processes and systems

Compliance : Ensure systems and processes comply with accounting standards, financial policies and statutory requirements efficiently and effectively

Performing other roles and responsibilities as assigned by management
Qualifications
-
University degree in business/finance/accounting or professional qualification in accountancy

4+ years experience working with financial systems such as SAP and Oracle ERP
-
Strong Information Technology skills (ERPs, MS office, PowerBI, Power Apps)
-
Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English. Ability to speak and write in Chinese is preferred for this regional role.

PMP certification is an added advantage.

Experience working in MNC Shared Services environments
