The Opportunity
This role presents a unique opportunity to gain experience working in the second largest commercial affiliate in the world across the entire Roche Group. In the US Diagnostics commercial affiliate, the Finance Partner for Corporate Accounts, Medical & Scientific Affairs (MSA), and Access & Government Affairs (AGA) provides exceptional finance business partnership to stakeholders and cross-functional colleagues, building trusted relationships with stakeholders & navigating our matrixed organization to achieve results. The finance partner will have direct exposure to senior leadership, including VP’s of Sales, US DIA Finance Leadership Team, VPs in MSA & AGA.
A key component of finance partnership is proactively leading and preparing complex financial and business analyses, often by converting data into insights to facilitate business discussions, drive decision making, and assess return on investment.
Additionally, the finance partner uses strong storytelling, financial, & deep business knowledge to communicate key insights, trends, and variances to leadership. Partners support a broad range of strategic commercial deals, market & financial analysis, as well as some financial closing activities. The ideal candidate understands and lives the Finance framework, mindset, and behaviors to grow & evolve our partnership with the business.
Key Responsibilities:

Performs regular analysis, highlighting key trends and variances to targets and develop recommendations to management for corrective actions

Provides insights that enable enterprise outcomes, while steering holistic and sustainable company performance

Demonstrates excellent presentation skills evidenced by the ability to communicate financial information in a clear, concise manner that fosters understanding and action by senior members of the business

Supports & leads forecast and budget processes across multiple stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate submission; works with organizational partners in developing functional and project level forecasts and budgets

Assists in creation of forecast and budget presentations for management

Creates state of the art analytics and financial models

Collaborates with internal teams on sales activities, costs, and product analyses

Manages functional costs for supported business teams

Supports special projects and analysis for supported business partners
Who You Are
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or other business related field. MBA preferred
-
5+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally some exposure to the US commercial healthcare market
-
Excellent stakeholder management with a demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders
-
Proven track record of understanding the broader enterprise and leveraging that comprehension to identify opportunities for sustainable growth and results

Excellent analytical skills
