Primary Purpose: The Outsourcing Vendor Relations Analyst will focus on driving continuous improvement in the management of outsourcing vendor relationships. This role combines vendor management with a strong focus on process optimization and efficiency. The analyst will be responsible for analyzing vendor performance data, identifying areas for improvement, recommending solutions, and working collaboratively with both internal teams and vendors to implement changes that enhance service delivery, reduce costs, and improve overall quality.
Support design and establishment of a set of complex vendor performance metrics, baselines, and KPIs for all end-to-end finance processes (OTC, RTR, P2P). Responsible for ongoing monitoring and management of vendor regarding the level of service performance against defined metrics and coordinating directly with the vendor and finance operations to drive continuous improvement for the business. Will be responsible for supporting the build out of common metrics and KPIs across the full end-to-end process (retained and outsourced) and adherence and improvement upon those metrics. Support creating the end-to-end process specific benchmarks and metrics baseline, with adherence to continuous improvement principles. Applies professional mastery to indirectly lead operational analysts driving metrics design and implementation across their respective end to end business processes. Additionally, this position will work with cross-functional stakeholders to identify, prioritize and lead/facilitate improvement efforts.
Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Quincy, MA, Scarborough, ME,and Hyattsville, MD.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports 3rd party operational initiatives and metrics for ADUSA Finance and includes evaluating operational performance; issue tracking overseeing identification and resolution plans; evaluating, supporting, and recommending operational metrics. Effective internal and external interactions, secured through strong influencing skills, are an important link in the communication chain of the business unit and contribute to the effective implementation of major projects and/or functional initiatives.
  • Applies professional mastery to drive adoption of standard metrics, SLAs, and KPIs for both vendor and captive resources. Applies depth and breadth of expertise across functional area of expertise. Has extensive functional and project experience, is a recognized expert in a functional area and enough organizational and operational expertise to soundly identify relevant KPIs.
  • Monitor service performance using defined metrics, evaluating to ensure that correct metric is being used and refines/recommends new Performance Metrics as appropriate. Assessment of the problem involves analysis of multiple complex problems at the underlying process level. Unique, creative, and innovative solutions are consistently required. Applies expertise and core competencies gathered from major projects and functional experience to solve problems.
  • Benchmark performance against leading Shared Service Centers.
  • Drive and support development of vendor scorecards and customer satisfaction tools as part of developing and managing an effective KPI-measurement process in conjunction with the retained organization. Promotes an effective project / functional environment through the effective use of indirect mentoring and coaching skills. Plans and assigns work within the context of a project /function. Leads by example, demonstrating leadership attributes, depth/ breath of knowledge and experience allows for a wide range of project / functional guidance.
  • Develop and support change management and communication processes for ADUSA Finance, ensuring communication and training plans are developed, implemented and measured.
  • Lead quarterly Executive Operational reviews (between the Captive and Vendor Operational teams) to highlight performance against service levels in the various areas as well as key drivers for improvement and top challenges.
  • Actively leads through vision, providing leadership for function through direct application of expertise, through consultation with others and/or through leadership team.
  • Effectively communicates and ensures awareness of changes to process that affect all the functional areas within ADUSA Finance.
  • Thinking is directed towards undefined and ambiguous challenges that require solutions that build on industry and disciplinary best practice to improve current practice or result in the direct development of new procedures.
  • As a mid-level expert, uses knowledge of leading-edge solutions in conjunction with industry and business skills to develop and implement business strategies.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with peers, leadership, and team members when interacting on difficult systematic problems.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in business, finance or related field
  • 6-8 years of previous business consulting / industry or related experience
  • Understanding of financial and accountancy terminology and processes
  • Prior experience with business analytics
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, perform root cause analysis, and provide actionable insights
  • High Attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present findings to leadership
  • Ability to influence leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Experience working in a global multi-vendor / shared services environment
  • Extensive functional and project experience, is a recognized expert in a functional area and possesses organizational and operational expertise


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expert analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • MBA
  • Certifications (CPA, CIA, CISA, etc.)
