Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead our Finance central team in IKEA Industry. Position is located at IKEA Industry office Malmö, Sweden. As Finance Manager you will together with your team be an important key player to lead and secure that work related to finance comply with both legal and internal rules and regulations. Preparing timely and accurate financial information with recommendations to company leaders to use in decision making to ensure we continue to optimize our financial performance in line with our IKEA assignment. You have a desire to create simplicity through structure and achieve results through the organisation. You will lead our central Finance Team in Sweden and Poland total 40 co-workers.

Job specific key task and responsibilities

  • Responsible for Financial and Management reporting.
  • Monthly closing process with analyses and communication with business stakeholders.
  • Secure compliance with accounting and tax law and legal rules and standards.
  • Continuously work with improvements of working methods and securing knowledge and expertise within the Finance area.
  • Carry out Ad Hoc analyses and reports and be a counterpart in projects from finance perspective e.g. due diligence at acquisitions, company closure, mergers and investments.
  • Be IKEA Industry Finance representative in new requirements like EHS reporting.
  • Responsible for auditing process in for IKEA Industry group.
  • Secure all annual reports is finalized and submitted local.

Qualifications

To succeed and shine in this role we see that you have:

  • Deep knowledge of both financial and management accounting/tax principles, practices, standards, and regulations.
  • Minimum 5 years experience from a similar position in an international group of companies or similar as auditor.
  • Proven successful leadership capabilities in leading people and passion to develop people.
  • Business partnering skills and strong relationship builder.
  • Strong business thinking and seeing things both with holistic perspective as well as being able to work with details.
  • High general understanding of IT systems (IKEA Industry use M3 as ERP system and SAP as reporting system).
  • Ambassador for IKEA Culture and values with value-based decision making and leadership.
