The Opportunity

The Finance Manager, Portfolio & Enterprise Insights, utilizes, synthesizes and integrates data to form insights that guide our results and strategies and helps decision makers understand the landscape we work in and identify additional financial value-adding opportunities. The individual will provide analytics and insights, resource allocation models and financial modeling tools. The individual enables stakeholders to focus on their key activities while identifying opportunities to provide the best experience to them. Additionally, you will ensure that technological advances are integrated in insights generation processes while constantly streamlining and/or upgrading processes.

Key Responsibilities:

The Finance Center of Excellence (FiCoE) Finance Manager resides within the US Diagnostics (DIA) affiliate and plays a key role in support of Commercial activities.  In this role you will lead the North America (NAM) planning activities and be a member of the Portfolio and Enterprise Insights community.  You will contribute broadly to the organization and create valuable impact through this role.

  • Establish and maintain robust financial reporting systems, processes and financial controls to ensure integrity and reliability of financial statements and information

  • Establish and maintain strong partnership with internal Finance colleagues as well as Business Partners

  • May lead planning activities and balance planning simplifications with robust, fit for purpose information

  • Leads the local US DIA commercial affiliate and NAM Diagnostics regional business planning activities and development of strategic insights for the enterprise

  • Develops analysis and insights to enable the US Commercial organization to achieve results

  • Complete complex financial models

  • Partner with senior finance leaders and other colleagues within the global organization to align global and local long-term strategies with near-term developments, financials targets and actions

  • Member of the Portfolio and Enterprise Insights community and serve as a finance business partner to the NAM DIA CEO and CFO during target setting and business planning

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business related field

  • 5-8 years of progressive accounting and finance experience

  • Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles, such as GAAP and/or IFRS

  • Master’s degree, MBA, or CPA preferred but not required

  • Excellent stakeholder management

  • Strong financial acumen, knowledge, and leadership

  • A proven VACC leader who prioritizes enterprise-wide impact and focuses on high-impact work

  • Ability to flex and navigate a complex, broad and diverse organization

  • Ability to effectively collaborate with virtual and diverse teams in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to manage projects and competing priorities​​
