Finance Manager - OTC

Key Responsibilities:

• Effectively lead and manage the Billing and Collection finance operation sub-stream, implement robust control over key processes within the sub-stream which include invoicing, cash collection, cash allocation and general customer-facing activities.

• Strong sense of ownership on trade debtors-related balance sheet accounts, ensure the accountability and accuracy of customer ledger transactions, proper management of risk and opportunities to drive the end-to end conversion cycle from revenue to cash.

• Demonstrate excellent controllership and problem-solving skills over operational challenges, issues or incidents and proactively drive to resolution as well as working with Continuous Improvement (CI) to establish long term preventive measures.

• Demonstrate strong captainship in leading the team towards achieving the performance objectives as well as consistently delivering the top-notch services in accordance with the service management framework.

• Develop service-mindset in each individual within the team to establish high performing culture and productive environment, promote learning and development to enhance skills, deliver mentoring and coaching to level up team performance.

• Represent FSS in endorsing the proper, consistent and standard financial and accounting transaction and controls to local stakeholders, identify and raise abnormalities and deviation.

• Continuously identify areas of improvement within OTC processes, actively engage with local resources to drive efficiency and reduce complexity. Deliver small-scale process change projects.

• Serve as the OTC frontline to any local-based projects to ensure insights and supports are delivered timely, perform preliminary review on test scripts, carry out testing and escalate defects if any.

• Provide local support to Control Transformation agenda to ensure BPI deliverables are achieved within the stipulated deadline.

• Provide technical support to Finance and business stakeholders via standard and ad-hoc analysis and investigations as and when required.

• Support internal/external audit queries and requests for information/data, proactively engage with local stakeholders to clear audit backlogs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager within the FMCG industry.

• Strong proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong leadership and communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.

• Proficiency in English.
