Key Responsibilities

• Preparing journals to record expenses in accounting ledgers

• Matching expense submissions against the receipts

• Verifying employee expenses, claims and bank payments for processing reimbursement

• Recording payments of expenses in sub-ledgers and claim payments on underwriting system

• Generating journal vouchers and get these approved by seniors

• Maintaining petty cash balance

• Preparing bank reconciliations

• Assisting in preparation of budget vs actual analysis

• Reporting discrepancies and mistakes to seniors

• Assisting in other ad-hoc projects

Skills & Experience

• Graduate and have basic knowledge of accounting. No prior work experience is required

• Good understanding of Microsoft Excel and Word

• Good attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)

• Good organisation skills

• Ambitious attitude

• Willingness to learn

• Able to take directions
