This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company’s Corporate Office locations in Beverly Hills, California or Scottsdale, Arizona.
Discovery Land Company is seeking an Intern to join the “Department” Department.
Our growth-oriented company is dedicated to providing you with valuable learning opportunities as you share your ideas and creativity with the team. In this position, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees.

Key Responsibilities
• General Intern Duties
o Observe and interact with various professionals.
o Attending staff and departmental meetings on an ongoing basis and any appropriate management or coordination meetings.
o Complete, update, and distribute communications of various types.
o Solicite feedback from multiple project participants and following direction.
o Assist with the department responsibilities.
o Assist appointment manager with duties and responsibilities, support additional team members.
o Perform daily administrative functions.
o Other assignments as needed and assigned.
• Department Specific Duties: (Example below- Finance Intern)
o Assist with financial modeling.
o Assist with bank reconciliation.
o Provide general accounting support.
o Help with accounts receivable management.
o Provide support for annual budgeting process.
o Assist with statistical analysis and other special projects.
o Present data-driven recommendations to the finance team.

Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in the fields of internship.
• Ability to work up to 20 hours per week.
• Must be in their junior or senior year of studies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly motivated with a desire to learn.
• Ability to work alone and in a team focused atmosphere.
• Proficiency MS Office Programs.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
• Must conduct business in a professional and ethical manner with all team members, potential buyers, external business associates and coworkers to reinforce goodwill and profitability for the company.

• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.
• Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and a shift greater than eight (8) hours in length.
