Finance Implementation Systems Lead for Education Business Solutions, Inc. (dba EdOps) to report to our Washington, D.C. HQ loc. and may work remotely from anywhere in the U.S. DUTIES: Serve as an outsourced accountant & financial advisor for a portfolio of new client engagements. Oversee all day-to-day full-cycle accounting & compliance aspects of the schools, incl accounts payable, payroll, grants administration & regulatory compliance. Close books monthly/quarterly/annually & prepare monthly financial statements. Implement custom Excel & Google Sheets tools during implementations: Develop custom productivity & accuracy-enhancing toolset used in financial practice incl EdOps’s budget Excel model tool & financial reporting Excel model tool & develop custom tools to be used across finance practice area. Develop & execute schedule for maintenance/updates of custom tools created. Little national travel may be required to visit client sites. Travel not to exceed 60 days/year and length of a single trip not to exceed 5 days.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have Master’s in Accounting, Business Administration, Public Policy, Public Administration or rel field; 2 years rel exp in finance or accounting; and required skills. Alternatively, must hold Bachelor’s in Accounting, Business Administration, Public Policy, Public Administration, or rel field; 3 years rel exp in finance or accounting; and required skills. Also requires skills (2 yrs exp) in: Excel and Google Sheets; executing on technical challenges and training others how to solve; financial modeling; financial analysis/problem solving; and (6 months): developing tools to improve efficiency across multiple clients.
Wage: $100,000 to $115,000.
