Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Executive to support our finance operations across accounts receivable and general financial reporting. The role will be responsible for handling billing processes, client registrations, job and project financial management, and supporting various reporting and reconciliation tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable:
- Coordinate with SSC billing team to process client and intercompany billing and credit notes (CN).
- Coordinate and manage client registration and updates in the system.
Client Finance Management:
- Handle finance processes for key clients
- Manage client Work-in-Progress (WIP) and ensure timely job closure.
- Assist in revenue recognition processes, prepare accrued revenue journal entries and allocate revenue and cost as per project guidelines.
- Support project-related tasks (Ad-hoc): Job creation, Cost Estimate and Purchase Order issuance.
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Generate and maintain freelancer timesheet reports.
- Prepare commentaries for accrued revenue, WIP, deferred income, and net working capital (NWC).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
- Experience in the advertising industry will be an added advantage.
