You work in Mondelēz International Digital Services to lead in the development of tools, frameworks and skills that ensure the effective delivery of the experience strategy for a specific process area (which could be in sales, finance, marketing, customer service and logistics, procurement, HR, etc.). You also work with other service operations employees to ensure they are using processes and tools to ensure an impeccable customer experience.
How you will contribute
As a subject matter expert (SME) for processes in your area, you will provide input to capability-building materials and toolkits to ensure adherence to defined processes and to identify opportunities for the development of standard tools, automation, digitization and application for processes in line with group priorities and strategy. In addition, you will monitor key performance indicators to ensure they are aligned to strategic objectives and provide feedback to develop global capability. In this role, you will also audit and manage change controls and keep track of issues and actions to ensure they are addressed on a timely basis. Working with other teams, you will manage issue escalations. As an SME, you not only understand, but keep abreast of industry-wide best practices in your area.

Purpose of the Role
The purpose of a Source to Pay (STP) Controls and Compliance Lead is to oversee and ensure adherence to internal controls, compliance regulations, and corporate policies within the Source to Pay (STP) process. This role plays a critical part in safeguarding the organization's financial operations and maintaining process integrity.
Roles & Responsibilities: -
Governance and Compliance
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, corporate policies, and industry standards within the STP process.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to procurement, vendor management, and payment processes.
Process Oversight and Improvement
- Monitor and evaluate STP processes for efficiency, consistency, and alignment with internal controls.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance control mechanisms and operational efficiency.
Internal Controls
- Design, implement, and maintain controls to prevent fraud, errors, and policy violations.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits to ensure control effectiveness.
Risk Management
- Identify control gaps and develop remediation plans.
- Ensure risks associated with supplier relationships, contract compliance, and payments are effectively managed.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work with procurement, finance, IT, and audit teams to ensure a unified approach to compliance and controls.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external audits related to the STP process.
Career Experiences Required & Role Implications: -
- Master's Degree (Required):
- Fields of study: Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4 Years experience in relevant roles e.g. Finance, Internal Controls etc.
- Understanding of STP workflows, vendor management, purchase orders, invoicing, and payment processes.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Coupa)
