Job Description
Role Summary:
The role will be responsible for helping the Head of the ISSC and the Head of Global Shared Services drive the development of the shared services operating model in India. The individual will be responsible for all the Finance Transformation activities : · Transition Management, · Implementing Service Management Framework (performance management - SLA/KPI, Issue / Instance, Change Management), and · Continuous Improvement to identify and drive productivity projects in the shared service centre serving captive customers within NEC GBU. This is a significant and challenging role that will drive world-class practices & expertise. The role will be part of Extended Finance Leadership in Global Shared Service Centre (GSSC).
Essential
: • Customer focused, excellent stakeholder management skills, ability to work with cross functional teams within and outside organisation and manage internal customers whilst practicing high ethical standards. • Prior hands-on experience in managing a significant budget and large numbers of staff & third-party consultants with a strong delivery focus is considered a key asset • Problem solving mindset, good negotiation skills. • Self driven, motivated individual able to work in fast pace, dynamic and deadline driven environment. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Overall Project/Task description
ISSC Strategy
· Ensure effective business planning processes are in place across the ISSC and support
Head of ISSC in the allocation and management of ISSC budget & resources
Transition and Change Management
· Responsible for ensuring effective and efficient transfer of key processes and
procedures into the ISSC from respective CA’s
· Work with ISSC Head, GSSC Project teams in preparing the comprehensive transition
plan for entire Project Life Cycle (What, Who, When/ RACI metrics).
· Identifying risk and opportunities at each stage of the transition plan and driving
stakeholders to mitigate the risks. Escalate and seek leadership support.
· Ensure successful execution of each project life cycle phase (work shadow, service
rehearsals and phased cut over- Go/No Go decision)
Continuous Improvement
· Responsible for driving continuous improvement mindset across the ISSC
· Ensure ISSC process designs are consistent with best practice, and implement process
improvement opportunities and best practises through latest automation tools.
· Benchmark ISSC process costs on a regular basis to optimize cost to serve
opportunities
Performance Management & Reporting (Service Management)
· Ensure ISSC operates within a strong controls and compliance framework
· Negotiate and agree service level agreements, covering all core processes performed
by the ISSC, with all key stakeholders
· Work with central GSSC team to ensure initial deployment and maintain Service
Delivery Framework and ensure SLA / KPIs are clearly tracked and reported for each
process performed by the ISSC
· Effectively present data and team performance to small groups, 1 to 1 to top
management
People Management
· Ensure the ISSC is resourced with the appropriate capacity & capabilities to deliver and
maintain world class services
Qualifications
Education: Qualified professional (CA or CMA) or MBA Finance
Experience
(years): 15+yrs relevant work experience.
Relevant
Experience: • Working in Finance & Accounting SSC (Captive SSC experience preferred), familiarity to ERP platforms (SAP preferred) • Must have managed at least one Process transition end to end. • Experience in implementing a multi-national global ERP template solution • Awareness of emerging technology trends and the opportunities presented by digital transformation • Large Team management experience of 3~5years.
