Job Description:A Finance Business Partner supports various departments by assisting in financial analysis, reporting, and planning. This role is designed for recent graduates or early-career finance professionals seeking to gain foundational experience in business finance and analytics. Finance Business Partners work closely with senior finance team members, contributing to financial planning, data management, and cross-functional collaboration. This position offers valuable exposure to financial operations and provides opportunities for growth within the organization.
This position is fully remote, however, preference will be given to candidates within our service areas (Minnesota, North Dakota, Wisconsin).
Education Qualifications:
Required Education:
- Bachelors degree required with a preference in finance, accounting, business, or related field
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepares and assists in creating monthly reports and financial analyses for various business units.
- Budget Support: Participates in budgeting and forecasting, monitoring performance against financial goals.
- Data Management: Supports the maintenance of financial tools and ensures accuracy in data handling.
- Collaboration: Acts as a finance contact for business units, responding to finance-related queries and fostering teamwork.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Participates in financial projects and ad hoc analyses to support business goals.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various departments
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with financial software (e.g., Strata, Workday)
