As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our Technology and Data & Analytics business units. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting, cost management, and forecasting processes. You will work closely with the Senior Finance Business Partner to deliver timely and insightful financial information to key stakeholders, including the Senior Leadership Team and Executives.
What You Will Do:

Own the Numbers: Take charge of the financial reporting for revenue and costs, ensuring accurate and timely completion of monthly financial reports, forecasts, and budgets.

Be a Financial Guardian: Uphold the highest standards of financial discipline, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and internal controls.

Collaborate and Partner: Build strong relationships with teams across the business to ensure accurate reporting and proactive identification of risks and opportunities.

Embrace the Challenge: Be a hands-on contributor in a small, dynamic team environment, willing to go the extra mile to get the job done.
What Experience you need

Qualified Expertise: Hold a recognized accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, AAT, CIMA) or be a finalist nearing completion.

Proven Experience: Possess experience of working in a commercial finance environment with experience in managing cost budgets.

Communication Prowess: Communicate effectively and build strong working relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, both financial and non-financial.

Precision and Focus: Maintain a high level of numeracy and accuracy, ensuring meticulous attention to detail in all tasks.

Prioritization and Organization: Effectively prioritize and organise your work independently to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple deliverables.

Business Partnering Acumen: Demonstrate experience in collaborating with business stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-making.

Forecasting and Budgeting Expertise: Showcase your skills in developing accurate and insightful forecasts and budgets.

Experience in managing CAPEX budgets: A big part of supporting the Technology business unit involves forecasting and reporting on our annual capital expenditure.

US GAAP Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of US GAAP accounting principles and revenue recognition standards.

Systems Proficiency: Demonstrate familiarity with Oracle and Essbase or similar financial systems.

Global Mindset: Bring experience working in a multi-national or US-based business environment.
