Job Description
ROLE
Telefonica Tech India is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional to manage our bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, and vendor management tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial management, as well as experience in payroll and vendor management.
As a Finance assistant expect to be:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records for the company, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Oversee and manage the payroll process, including calculating employee pay, deducting taxes and other withholdings, and issuing payslips.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax and financial regulations.
- Manage relationships with vendors, including negotiating contracts, monitoring performance, and resolving any issues that arise.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare forecasts to ensure that the company has sufficient funds to meet its financial obligations.
- Assist with budget planning and analysis.
- Communicate financial information to senior management and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, and vendor management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of relevant tax and financial regulations.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
