The Finance Analyst's mission:

The Finance Analyst will be responsible for supporting the daily financial management of the company, analyzing key data, monitoring profitability, developing reports, and proposing improvements to optimize the company’s financial performance. This position requires someone with strong analytical capabilities, data management skills, and the ability to quickly adapt to changes in a fast-paced and evolving work environment.

The expected outcomes:

  • Analysis and information preparation: The proper execution of the waterfall depends on a detailed and rigorous analysis of financial and operational data. This person will assist in preparing, reviewing, and validating the data to ensure everything flows correctly.
    Coordination with internal teams and external counterparts: Communication and alignment with other teams, such as the internal accounting team, Accounts Receivable (CxC), and primarily the main lender, is key to avoiding misalignments and errors. This person will facilitate and improve communication channels, ensuring that all parties involved are informed and working with the same information.
    Process tracking: The additional resource will ensure thorough tracking of processes, identifying possible bottlenecks or failures and proactively resolving issues before they become obstacles.
  • Optimization of data management and metrics: With this support, data analysis and monitoring will be optimized, leading to a better understanding of how interest collections are functioning and, therefore, the company’s financial performance.
  • Space for process improvements: There is significant room for continuous improvement in areas like analysis, communication with lenders, and alignment with the accounting and CxC team. This new resource will be able to take the initiative to identify these areas for improvement and propose solutions to streamline processes, reduce errors, and optimize time.

The day to day tasks:

  •  Manage and oversee trusts, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and alignment with the company’s financial goals.
  • Control cash flows, investments, and resource distribution within the trusts.
  • Process and analyze large volumes of financial data to identify patterns and generate strategic projections.
  • Develop financial models to evaluate scenarios and facilitate decision-making.
  • Create cash flow projections and assess liquidity needs to ensure financial stability.
  • Implement strategies for working capital optimization and asset turnover.
  • Identify and assess risks related to cash flow, debt, interest rates, and changes in the economic environment.
  • Design risk mitigation strategies to ensure the company’s financial soundness.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to optimize financial processes and improve profitability.
  • Propose strategies that contribute to sustainable growth and the company’s competitiveness in the market.

Why You should apply:

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
  • You have 1 - 3 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial planning, or related areas.
  • You understand how to build a P&L and financial results management.
  • You have basic knowledge of trusts and their management.
  • You are skilled in data analysis and decision-making tools. A super plus if you can program with SQL!
