Opportunity:
***Location: Miamisburg, OH or Dallas, TX ***
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Financial Analyst to join our North America Finance & Accounting team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting business decisions by analyzing financial data, preparing insightful reports, and driving process improvements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Operations, to provide financial guidance and support.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Financial Planning & Analysis
● Actively participate in the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process, including data collection, analysis, and presentation.
● Support the close process, including journal entry preparation, reconciliations, and financial statement analysis. ● Conduct variance analysis for the commercial and operations teams as needed, identifying trends and drivers of performance.
● Prepare monthly and ad-hoc financial reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and presentations.
● Analyze sales performance, including territory analysis, sales quota attainment, and sales activity reporting.
Business Partnership
● Collaborate closely with the North America Commercial teams to provide financial insights and support business decisions.
● Analyze Selling, General, and Administrative (SG&A) expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support spending projections.
Ad-Hoc Projects
● Continuously identify and implement opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of financial processes and reporting.
● Leverage data and technology to automate and streamline tasks.
● Participate in other special projects as needed.
Qualifications
● 2 - 3 years of finance or related experience.
● Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets to perform financial tasks, specifically creation of spreadsheets to perform reporting and analysis, extracting data, developing charts / graphs.
● Experience with Oracle R12 and Essbase / SmartView preferred.
● Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines.
● Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
● Hybrid role, 2-3 days in office with remaining days working from home.
● Flexibility to travel as needed (under 10% of time)
