This is an opportunity to join the Agilent Finance team supporting the Companion Diagnostics (CDx) Division in Agilent's Life Sciences and Diagnostics Group (LDG). The CDx Division is a growing, profitable business that develops innovative and market-leading companion diagnostic tests for pharmaceutical drug therapies. These tests help advance the future of personalized medicine by guiding patients to their most effective treatment, while lowering their risk of treatment side effects.
This financial analyst position covers a broad spectrum of responsibilities including:
Ensure integrity of financial results through management of effective controls and innovative analysis

Partner with Operations and PMO to provide project financial support including revenue analysis, cost analysis and customer billings

P&L planning and reporting responsibility and project financial support. Developing financial models for new project proposals, supporting market analysis efforts, helping develop new business processes

Additional responsibilities include analysis of key performance indicators across the project portfolio, as well as ad-hoc analysis at the individual project level

Maintaining compliance with internal financial policies and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
A Successful Candidate in this Role Will:

Significant work experience in a finance environment, undertaking performance reporting, in-depth financial analysis, and business modelling

Quickly learn and leverage multiple Agilent tools and systems to gather real-time financial and business information required to support the business

Support the Business Controller in providing division-level managers insight into financial or operational issues impacting the business
-
Solve complex, high impact financial and business program problems
-
Communicate effectively with all levels of management
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s in accounting or finance equivalent
-
4+ years of relevant and practical experience
-
Sound knowledge of general accounting principles along with comprehensive experience in budgeting and forecasting models
-
Experience with SAP, S4C HANA, or other large company enterprise resource planning system (ERP)
-
Strong analytical, skills, coupled with sound judgment including experience in financial modeling and business case development
-
Ability to work independently as well on a team

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $82,480.00 - $154,650.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
