We are seeking a highly flexible and multi-talented individual for our Field Team, must be willing to travel up to 50%. Field Operations are high stakes, fast paced, customer facing ventures that require quick thinking and professionalism under pressure. In this role you will interface with multidisciplinary teams to develop software and hardware in robotic solutions across the country. In this role it is crucial to be self motivated to learn and adapt. 
How you will make an impact as a Field Operations Specialist: 

  • Deployment and Installation:
    • Install, configure, and calibrate robotic systems at client sites.
    • Set up associated infrastructure, such as docking stations, network connections, and charging systems.
  • System Testing and Validation:
    • Perform field testing to validate the performance, connectivity, and functionality of robotic systems.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware or software issues encountered during operations.
    • Conduct pre-deployment evaluations, including network and cellular signal strength tests.
  • Operational Support:
    • Monitor robotic systems during field operations, ensuring adherence to safety and performance standards.
    • Train on-site personnel in basic robot operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
    • Collect and analyze operational data to recommend system improvements.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a Field Service or Testing Engineer role 
  • Bachelors in Engineering/Sciences or equivalent experience 
  • Willing to travel up to 50%
  • Experience with Python, Bash, or C++ 
  • Experience with linux 
  • Troubleshooting skills in windows and linux networking
  • Soldering and electronics troubleshooting
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Strong attention to detail
