KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES 

 

Required: 

  • High School Diploma of GED equivalent and 3+ years of foodservice, sales, or related experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work in team environment, able to analyze and improve account processes, and develop and maintain Franchise customer account assignments.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office products (specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical, project management, organizational skills and the ability to problem solve, multitask, prioritize, and work independently.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Comfortable with overnight travel. 

 

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or one year experience in Sales of Customer Service in an office environment. 

 

Essential Duties: 

  • Establish contact with all assigned accounts to establish company presence, address customer needs to include ordering, delivery, account issues, openings, rollouts, Don.com registration, and account receivables. 
  • Travel to all assigned territory for openings and Resupply issues requiring a presence as identified by Regional Sales Manager. This position will be expected to perform both Field & DC Checks-ins. 
  • Establish contact with all Company Departments to communicate all assigned territory needs to assure field success with customers. Position requires that all Franchise offices are communicated to all Don current and promotional programs.    
  • Handle all Administrative Duties to keep both company and Customer current on Day-to-Day happenings to include New Account Setup, updates needed for current Customer base, processing of all accounts receivables, reconciliation of all assigned NEW Customer Openings, credits, and the training on use of Don.com. 
  • Position requires the scheduling two months in advance of assigned territory activity and to be sent to RSM on a weekly basis by close of business each Friday.  
  • Maintain contact with RSM and assigned Franchise Communities to report on current field activities and matters concerning assigned National / Regional accounts on a regular basis.  
  • Keep informed on products and other general programs for our industry with focus on National Accounts. Provide suggestions and advice to Franchise Customers on what industry trends and activities are happening and relay the response of those needs of the Franchise community back to the RSM. 
  • Identify and research new Regional Chain Account business opportunities and communicate back to RSM. 
  • Perform the documenting, quoting, and conversion of target accounts assigned by RSM. 
  • Communicate the day-to-day resupply business events as it pertains to delivery, shortages, overages, damages, missing product, and mis-picks of all delivered product as needs are identified. 
  • Keep records and reports on all phases of activities. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned by RSM.
