Group/Division
The SensArray division is the world leading provider of in situ processing measurement and control solutions for the semiconductor industry. The company provides measurement and control solutions to both semiconductor fabs and mask shops to ensure that yields are consistently high thus enabling cost-effective manufacturing SensArray business unit is dedicate to support customer R&D phase as well as HVM with in-situ thermal process control. SensArray business unit enable APC (Automated Process Control) to improve process optimization and yield improvement.
Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
Job Description:
- Customer facing technical role - Significant portion of the work will be inside clean rooms of customer semiconductor fabs.
- Analyze customer issue from technical perspective, prepare Statement of Work, develop complex DoE (Design of Experiments), run demo of KLA tools, prepare demo reports, and present to customer.
- Execute detailed characterization of field test plans of KLA tools
- Perform routine problem diagnosis and problem resolution for characterization, demos, or field projects or post-sales support
- Participate on conference calls with KLA engineers to help evaluate and resolve tool issues.
- Technical publication: Publish BKM (Best Known Methods), White Papers, Peer Reviewed Papers on technical issues
- Provide support during H2H, PLC, alpha characterization, beta testing, and gap analysis.
- Contribute to test plan development.
- Respond to customer requests and perform routine to moderately complex problem diagnosis and problem resolution.
- Develop training modules and conduct training for new engineers.
- Travel: Traveling to customer sites is required:
- Domestic travel based on assignment is required.
- International travel to Headquarters at Milpitas, California, USA for training or meeting with division engineers as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Ph.D. or Master's degree (Science or Engineering) or BS (Science or Engineering) with 1-3 years' experience.
- Preferred Fields: Science (Chemistry/Physics), Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical/Electrical/Material Science)
- Business level language skill of Japanese and English is must.
- Understands engineering principles and techniques related to semiconductor fabrication. Working knowledge of major system components and their interactions. Possesses generalist knowledge of technical areas covered by the department.
- Good working knowledge of testing techniques and statistical data analysis
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic customer issues.
- Strong technical communication skills especially technical documentation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Semiconductor Fabrication especially in process side.
- Previous experience in customer facing roles
Minimum Qualifications
Master's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years
