As we continue to grow as QuidelOrtho, we are seeking a Field Application Specialist to be responsible for installing analyzers and providing customer support and training in the correct use of the equipment. Provides technical assistance to Salespersons, Technical Engineers and Customers, ensuring that all customer technical issues are resolved in a prompt and complete manner. Functioning as the secondary, on-site technical contact for the client, solving chemistry, Immunoassay and blood bank related issues as determined by the account team.
Responsibilities

Provide on-site customer training and re-training for analyzer use in CC and BB.

Run correlation studies, precision, troubleshooting and accuracy tests to ensure our analyzer are working properly.

Assist Sales Representatives in answering questions regarding analyzers or methods prior and post sales cycle.

Promote new tests to increase business on current customers (Menu Expansion).

Mail announcements, product notifications, bulletins and technical news to customers.

Coordinate presentation or educational activities for customers.

Elevate properly quality compliance with any notification o claim reported by customer.

Provide assistance with regulatory compliance for clinical laboratories.

Support Distributors in Central America on technical issues if required.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Medical or Biological Sciences, including Medical Technologist, Chemist and Biochemist.

Basic knowledge of English, spoken and written.
