Application Scientist performs, and guides approved self-initiated or assigned programs of major importance to assigned leads and/or supporting innovates applications of new or existing technologies, products, and businesses. This individual is a team contributor but has individual scope Tier 3 technical support responsibility over Soleris portfolio.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Completes self-initiated and assigned activities directed toward significant impact to the business and staff organization.

Applies innovative and advanced technical skills to provide support and services to expand opportunities, reduce risk and generate revenue.

Recommends and develops solutions for technical and product problems

Utilizes knowledge of technical, product and market information and understanding of project scope, expectations, and requirements to contribute to the development of project strategy.

Explores development of new technologies or products.

Establishes and cultivates an extensive network of support to facilitate completion of assignments

Interactives with customers/clients to better understand relations, external processes, requirements, and applications.

Education and Experience

Advanced Degree in physical science, chemistry, or related fields with 1-3 years work experience in a professional laboratory setting or Bachelor’s Degree in physical science, chemistry, or related fields with 3-5 years work experience in a professional laboratory setting.
