Donaldson Company Inc.’s Fibrous Media Technology group is looking for an Engineering Intern to function as technical support within the R&D team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to our core research and development and be part of a dynamic, fast-paced and global engineering team.
Role Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with research and engineering teams to help advance fibrous media technology and develop innovative solutions for our team and stakeholders.
- Coordinate and complete the testing and validation of systems or components.
- Meet all project deadlines and requirements while clearly documenting information.
- Communicate and present project findings and progress to multiple different audience groups.
- Gather and analyze team feedback to improvement to systems and projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current undergraduate enrolled in an accredited program pursuing a bachelor’s degree in one of the following: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Interest in filtration media development and test system development.
- Ability to independently lead projects within a collaborative environment.
- Experience with technical project management as demonstrated through technical projects, research or engineering internships.
- Ability to visualize data and demonstrate in key audience presentations.
- Strong interpersonal skills, high learning agility, analytical and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional organizational and collaboration skills as demonstrated through leadership positions on teams and/or in student or civic organizations.
- Currently enrolled undergraduate junior/rising senior.
- Minimum 3.0 out of a 4.0 cumulative GPA.
Hourly Pay Range: $20.00 - 27.00, depending on projected undergraduate graduation date, educational degree in progress and major of study upon time of hire.
This position is overtime eligible as per state and federal regulations.
