The purpose of this position is to create fiberglass parts for Werner's fleet of trucks and to maintain the equipment used in the process to make those parts.
The job functions listed below represent the essential job duties and responsibilities of the above-listed position.
• Spraying resin/chop gun, spraying gelcoat, rolling/compressing sprayed parts, Hand trimming the edges of sprayed parts, removing dried parts from mold.
• Sanding parts from molds, prepping surfaces for glue and assembly, gluing/installing fasteners, assembling/finishing parts, occasional light body work/painting for quality on finished parts.
• Perform routine maintenance on shop equipment (chop gun, gelcoat gun and pumps, etc.).
Repairing equipment that malfunctions, general cleaning of the shop.
