Responsibilities 

  • Understand storage markets, competition, and user requirements in depth to define and prioritize software features.
  • Develop and maintain detailed user stories and requirements for software development.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute strategic software initiatives, ensuring timely, budget-compliant, and high-quality project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, monitor progress, and manage risks with effective mitigation strategies.
  • Communicate progress, challenges, and achievements to stakeholders at all levels.



Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in product management within the storage industry.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in taking technical products from conception to launch.
  • Strong understanding of storage technologies, file systems, backup methodologies, and network protocols.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.



Nice to have

  • Product management experience in the NAS domain.
  • Experience in working with international teams and managing remote development efforts.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira or Confluence.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in the storage industry, such as NVMe, clustering, and centralized backup.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Experience in UX design, with a focus on creating user-friendly and intuitive interfaces.
