Responsibilities
- Understand storage markets, competition, and user requirements in depth to define and prioritize software features.
- Develop and maintain detailed user stories and requirements for software development.
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute strategic software initiatives, ensuring timely, budget-compliant, and high-quality project delivery.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, monitor progress, and manage risks with effective mitigation strategies.
- Communicate progress, challenges, and achievements to stakeholders at all levels.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in product management within the storage industry.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in taking technical products from conception to launch.
- Strong understanding of storage technologies, file systems, backup methodologies, and network protocols.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Product management experience in the NAS domain.
- Experience in working with international teams and managing remote development efforts.
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira or Confluence.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in the storage industry, such as NVMe, clustering, and centralized backup.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools and techniques.
- Experience in UX design, with a focus on creating user-friendly and intuitive interfaces.
