Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a F-35 Planning & Integration Manager 2 to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals within our F-35 organization. This leadership role is located onsite in Redondo Beach, California.

This leadership role is an exciting opportunity for a Level 2 IPT management position supporting the F-35 program. The manager will oversee the day to day activities for the Master Planning Integration (MPI) Organization on the F-35 program supporting change activity that includes Major A/B CRs and Proposals that impact all contracts.
Responsibilities:

Manage the integration of all planning efforts throughout the Air Systems Integration Organization and Proposal Management by deploying and coordinating between Program Planning and Scheduling, Production Master Scheduling, GSC Advanced Planning, Operations Management, and Labor, Prod Ops, Material Planning functions

Deploy support functions in accordance with program priorities and objectives to provide timely inputs for complete and comprehensive proposal estimates, schedules and SOW for program leadership approval

Coordinate with Air Systems Integration and the proposal teams on proposal issues and drive task completions to closure in support of program milestones/delivery dates

Coordinate with the customer on proposal efforts to ensure schedule assumptions and requirements are clearly defined

Provide clear direction on schedule requirement changes in support of comprehensive change packages and proposals

Establish and maintain GR&As, lead times, funding requirements, master schedules, 2nd source BAM, and any other required planning artifacts required for Major A/B CRs and Major proposals

Ensure CR integration, BOM reconciliation, and correct SOW are estimated for major proposals

Drive development of CR and proposal packages for approvals and lead thorough and accurate transition to MPI Master Planning team for execution

Manage program staffing requirements
Basic Qualifications:
-
Bachelors degree and 10 years of related experience as defined below OR a Masters degree and 8 years of related experience as defined below OR High School Diploma/Equivalent with at least 14 years of experience as defined below OR Bachelor of Science in STEM and 9 years of related experience as defined below OR Master of Science in STEM and 7 years of related experience as defined below

Related experience includes professional and/or military experience to include a background in project management, quality, program management, business management, global supply chain, engineering, contracts management capture efforts, and/or business management related functions

Must have a minimum of 4 years experience leading a team, process, and/or projects
-
Must have Scheduling experience in Lines of Balance or a similar practice experiences
-
Must be able to travel 25% of the time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs

Salary Range: $125,500.00 - $188,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
