Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a F-35 Master Planning Integration Manager 2 to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals within our F-35 organization. This leadership role is located onsite in Redondo Beach, California.

This leadership role is an exciting opportunity for a Level 2 IPT management position supporting the F-35 program. The manager will oversee the day to day activities for the Master Planning Integration (MPI) Organization on the F-35 program for all schedule plans and artifacts in support of contract execution for each F-35 program Operating Unit.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all program Operating Units (OUs) master schedule baselines, ensuring alignment to pertinent CRs and major proposals

  • Ensure integration of changes/proposals are captured prior to acceptance of contractual schedules

  • Coordinate and validate RPOs are accepted and SAP requirements are loaded in accordance with BIR approved packages

  • Provide execution visibility of schedules and LOB metrics for critical/high-risk parts

  • Develop and release Basic Assumptions Memorandums (BAMs) as required and communicate changes to program

  • Maintain 2nd source BAM, program approved sourcing strategies, and Block Point Change schedules

  • Manage support functions to provide inputs for complete and comprehensive schedule change requests for program leadership approval

  • Coordinate with the customer on changes to baseline and integrate with stakeholders to gain approvals for updates

  • Understand SOW, assess risks & issues, address priorities and drive appropriate actions through planning and functional teams

  • Coordinate with program leadership and customer to resolve issues and improve planning processes

  • Provide recommendations to program leadership and the team for any work around to meet critical milestones

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree and 10 years of related experience as defined below OR a Masters degree and 8 years of related experience as defined below

    • OR Bachelor of Science in STEM and 9 years of related experience as defined below

    • OR Master of Science in STEM and 7 years of related experience as defined below

  • Related experience includes professional and/or military experience to include a background in project management, quality, program management, business management, global supply chain, engineering, contracts management capture efforts, and/or business management related functions

  • Must have a minimum of 4 years experience leading a team, process, and/or projects

  • Must have Scheduling experience in Lines of Balance or a similar practice experiences

  • Must be able to travel 20% of the time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in a STEM field

  • SQL, Power BI, or Tableau experience

  • Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry

  • Program execution and Functional Management Experience

Salary Range: $125,500.00 - $188,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
