Plato Systems is pioneering the use of spatial AI to boost capacity, productivity, and safety across physical operations, starting with manufacturing. Established as a spin-off out of Stanford and funded by NEA in 2019, Plato has developed an Operations Digital Twin and AI copilot fueled by our proprietary hardware that uses machine perception and sensor fusion on the edge to digitize patterns of activity. Advanced manufacturing companies use the unprecedented capabilities in our platform to root cause complicated systemic operational issues rapidly and at scale, thereby taking Kaizen and compliance tracking into the age of AI. We are deployed across multinational electronics manufacturers, semiconductor fabs, and EMS companies in several countries. You can find out more about us by visiting our website.
Our mission and team expertise spans beyond software to advanced sensor systems, algorithms, embedded systems, signal processing, and machine learning. Our team is building and deploying edge software and cloud services for real-time customer facing products as well as internal big data tools. We look for people with a depth of expertise and experience in one of these areas, and with the intellectual curiosity for interacting with, learning from, and teaching world-class experts in areas outside their expertise.
The candidate will join a multi-disciplinary team of scientists and engineers and support multiple teams across the company. We currently have multiple internship and fulltime opportunities in the area of SW development and engineering (please check out our more specific openings first before applying to this one!). If the candidate is interested in multiple positions, they may select one to apply to and make a note in their application. This position is open to both on-site and remote candidates (including Canada)
