About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced BHS Engineer to manage and optimize baggage handling systems for airport operations, ensuring efficient and reliable service across our projects.
Key Responsibility:
- Design, develop, and maintain baggage handling systems.
- Oversee installation and testing of BHS equipment.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Perform regular system inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and reports.
- Provide technical support and training to operational staff.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee procurement of BHS equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Any ad-hoc duty assigned by the line manager
Suitable applicants will have/be:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in designing and maintaining baggage handling systems.
- Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Experience with project management and system integration.
- Strong technical documentation and report writing skills.
