Kaunas R&D office is looking for an experienced QA Engineer.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and Lead Testing Initiatives: ensure firmware release quality meets or exceeds set standards through both automated and manual testing strategies.
  • Analyze Project Artifacts: review release notes and other documentation to identify and update test scenarios as needed.
  • Maintain Testing Documentation: keep testing processes and procedures up-to-date and accessible.
  • Conduct Tests: perform both ad-hoc and scripted manual tests to identify potential issues.
  • Bug Reporting and Troubleshooting: proactively identify and report bugs or issues to development teams and assist in troubleshooting.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Testing Process and Planning: demonstrated experience in planning and executing testing strategies.
  • Issue Tracking: proficiency with issue tracking tools and processes.
  • Test Management Platforms: familiarity with using and navigating various Test Management Platforms.
  • Network Protocols Knowledge: broad understanding of core network protocols, services, and tools.
  • Operating Systems Experience: hands-on experience with Linux, macOS, and Windows.
  • Wi-Fi Radio Technology: knowledge of Wi-Fi radio technologies, including radio frequency (RF) concepts, Wi-Fi standards, and Wi-Fi connectivity troubleshooting is an asset.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: exceptional skills in communication and maintaining ethical standards.
  • Language Proficiency: English.
