Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

What your job will look like

Design of precision components, modules and subsystems, focused in Mechanical design.

Responsible for the complete design process, including:

• Driving requirements specification

• Feasibility studies

• Cost and scheduling

• Conceptual and detailed design, detailed drawings, using 3D solid modeling (ProE/Creo)

• Conducting various analysis, such as fluid, thermal, vibrational, and FEA modeling-advantage.

• Understanding of Geometric Tolerancing (GD&T)

• Detailed tolerance stack-up analysis

• Hold design reviews throughout design process

• Procurement of prototype parts

• Prototype assembly and testing

• System integration and testing

• Build assembly and test procedures

• Documentation release and handoff to manufacturing.

Minimum Qualifications

• BSc in Mechanical engineering

• Experience – 5 years in mechanical design

• Experienced in various fabrication methods, motion systems design and DFX.

• Experience in multi-disciplinary equipment

• Proficient in written and verbal English communication
