Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire an Exercise Specialist
As an Exercise Specialist at MercyOne, you will provide and direct safe, effective, and cultural-competent care for patients of all ages undergoing Cardiac Rehabilitation Phase I, II, III, IV, Child Risk Factor Reduction and community education. The exercise specialist offers a variety of exercises and education to maximize the patient's functional capacity and psychosocial status. Key accountabilities include assessment, outcome identification, planning care, implementation, and evaluation of care using critical thinking and evidence-based practice along with adherence to standards and active participation in quality monitoring and performance improvement activities.

General Requirements:

Special Training: Basic Life Support and ACLS within 6 months of hire

Training Preferred: Word processing, spreadsheet and database familiarity, ACSM certification if not master's prepared in Exercise Physiology.

Pay Range: $21.79 - $32.68 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
