What you'll get to do in this role:
Assists in the evaluation and treatment of patients ages 13 years old and older referred to the Cardiac Rehabilitation Programs, and other programs associated with the Cardiac Rehabilitation Services. Is also involved in the ongoing development of these programs. Responsible for supervising graded exercise tests in the non-invasive cardiovascular lab.
Education Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
Preferred 6 months experience in cardiac rehabilitation.
Meets Core Competencies as defined by AACVPR for Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialist.
Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology or health care related field.
ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
ACSM Certification – ACMS Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist or Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist or certification eligible and obtained within 6 months of hire.
