The Executive Recruiter will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and hiring top executive and senior-level talent across the Archer organization. You will collaborate closely with executives, and other key hiring managers to build strong, high-performing leadership teams. This position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional relationship-building skills and a proven track record of successfully making key hires in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with executives and founders to understand hiring needs, business goals, and team dynamics.
  • Develop and execute robust recruitment strategies to source and attract top executive talent.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding. You will drive every detail of the process, including high-touch coordination as needed.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for critical leadership roles.
  • Conduct thorough candidate assessments, ensuring alignment with the company’s culture and strategic goals.
  • Provide expert advice to hiring managers on market trends, talent availability, and recruitment best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of recruitment activities, metrics, and outcomes. Use analytics and reporting to inform our strategy going forward.
  • Run special programs targeted at the most elite technical talent in the world.

What you’ll need:

  • 6+ years of experience in executive recruiting, ideally within an executive search firm, startup, or corporate environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully recruiting for leadership roles in tech, hardware, or similar industries.
  • Ability to develop high-trust partnerships with top executives.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong ability to assess talent and match candidates to organizational needs.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to influence and guide hiring decisions.
  • Adept at managing multiple priorities and delivering results under tight deadlines.

Location

This role will require consistent on-site presence at our office in Santa Clara / San Jose.  Expect ~3 days a week in office.

At Archer we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent that possess the skills and leadership necessary to grow our business. We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company’s business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $150,000 - $200,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
