Role Overview

We are looking for an Executive Director to lead and scale our India operations reporting into Founder based out of the U.S.  This is a pivotal leadership role that will drive operational excellence, shape the India team culture, and ensure strong alignment with our global goals. This leader will be a key partner in building from a lean, high-performing team to a mature center of excellence.

What you'll do:

• India Site Leadership:
  Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Axion Ray India center across data analytics operations and solutions operations functions.

  Align India operations with global objectives, ensuring delivery excellence and innovation in data and analytics services.

• Stakeholder Management:
  Act as the primary interface between India and US leadership teams. Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans for the India team.

  Engage with senior leaders in the US and UK to maintain alignment on global goals, product development, and data operations requirements.

• Process & Operational Rigor:
  Establish processes for quality control, delivery governance, and performance measurement across teams.

  Drive best practices in data operations, built upon the successful scaling model, ensuring consistency and reliability across the organization.

• Growth Enablement:
  Spearhead strategic initiatives, including onboarding new capabilities, managing transitions, and evolving the organizational structure in India 

• Culture Champion:
  Foster a culture of ownership, continuous learning, transparency, and agility within the India team. Act as a cultural bridge between the India and US offices, ensuring alignment on values, work ethics, and operational excellence while adapting to regional nuances.

Who you are:

• 8+ years of experience, with a strong background in enterprise SaaS or data operations for global markets, preferably in the US .

• Proven track record of building and scaling India operations for a US-based startup or tech company.

• Experience in overseeing  data deployments and managing data-heavy operations, especially in contexts requiring global coordination and cross-functional collaboration.

• Strong understanding of startup scaling journeys with the ability to wear multiple hats in a fast-paced environment.

• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively engage with senior leaders in the US, Europe, and India to ensure alignment on global business and product goals.

• Excellent cross-cultural and stakeholder management skills.

• Hands-on experience setting up or scaling a Center of Excellence (CoE) in India.

• Exposure to tech-forward, product-first environments is a strong plus.

• Location: Bengaluru or willing to relocate.
