Executive Director - Head of Community Advocacy & Impact, Consumer and Business Intelligence
Job Description
As an Executive Director - Head of Community Advocacy & Impact part of Consumer and Business Intelligence, you will be part of a new organization of former consultants, economists, data scientists, and product leads that monitors, coordinates, and develops a holistic view of the financial well-being of consumers and businesses through the lens of JPMC and third-party data. The new organization is focused on curating meaningful insights which highlight how changes in the financial health of consumers and businesses impact the firm's clients and - more broadly - the economy.
Your primary focus will be to drive and shape the strategic vision for community impact within the CBI team. This role will lead community focused engagements (e.g., collaborative efforts with the Community Branch Development team), and foster partnerships with external organizations to enhance the financial health of consumers and businesses in underserved communities.
Job responsibilities
- Help drive community impact for the Consumer and Business Intelligence group, serving as an objective thought partner to the Head of Strategy, Consumer and Business Intelligence, and the Head of Consumer and Business Intelligence
- Own strategic projects end-to-end - near-term focus will be on building and managing relationships with community impact organizations, and other external stakeholders to amplify the presence and impact of the Consumer and Business Intelligence team insights
- Serve as the primary liaison between the CBI team, Community Branch Development team, and other business units to align priorities and integrate community impact efforts into broader organization goals
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for new partnerships that align with Consumer and Business Intelligence mission, and long-term strategic vision
- Design and execute programs that promote community development and financial health for consumers and small businesses
- Continuously measure, report, and refine strategies based on impact outcomes
- Advocate for data-informed policy changes and community-focused solutions in partnership with internal and external stakeholders
- Support the engagement approach for the new organization with the Operating Committee, other senior leaders, and cross-functional partners
- Create Operating Committee-level executive communications
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in relevant field
- Bachelor's degree; excellent academic credentials
- Exceptional strategic thinking and program management capabilities
- Proven ability to manage partnerships with diverse stakeholders, including policymakers, community organizations, and corporate partners
- Expertise in leveraging data and analytics for decision-making and impact measurement
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to structure complex problems
- Ability to create structured / logical presentations and clearly communicate key messages using appealing displays and graphics
- Intellectual curiosity and ability to learn new subjects quickly
- Proficient MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Open, collaborative, team-oriented operating style
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Financial services or economics background preferred, but not required
