Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic, visionary, and strategic Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead our Oracle Cloud transformation journey. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in overseeing and executing our cloud transformation initiatives, driving operational efficiency, and enhancing business capabilities through the effective use of Oracle Cloud technologies. This position requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of enterprise IT, cloud computing, and digital transformation, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Strategy & Transformation Leadership:

  • Lead the strategic vision and execution of Oracle Cloud adoption, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business goals.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Oracle Cloud transformation roadmap, including infrastructure, software, data management, and security.

  • Spearhead the transition from legacy systems to Oracle Cloud applications, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to define cloud objectives and business outcomes, ensuring alignment between IT and business strategies.

  • Act as a key liaison between IT teams, business units, vendors, and Oracle to ensure smooth cloud adoption and integration.

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication across the organization.

Technology & Innovation Leadership:

  • Stay ahead of the curve on Oracle Cloud innovations and other emerging technologies, evaluating their potential for business enhancement.

  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the IT department and across the organization, leveraging Oracle Cloud's capabilities.

Change Management:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive change management strategy to ensure successful adoption of Oracle Cloud technologies across all departments.

  • Provide leadership and training to help employees adapt to new systems and processes introduced by Oracle Cloud.

Project Management & Execution:

  • Oversee large-scale Oracle Cloud projects, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management.

  • Ensure the delivery of projects on time, within scope, and within budget, while meeting all performance, security, and compliance standards.

IT Governance & Compliance:

  • Establish and enforce governance frameworks to ensure the security, privacy, and compliance of Oracle Cloud solutions with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Oversee the management of cloud security and data protection, ensuring business continuity and disaster recovery plans are in place.

Performance Monitoring & Optimization:

  • Continuously monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure and applications for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Leverage Oracle Cloud’s analytics tools to assess system performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Build and lead a high-performing IT team skilled in Oracle Cloud technologies, ensuring ongoing development through training, mentorship, and career growth opportunities.

  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that attracts top talent and drives organizational success.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).

  • Experience:

    • 10+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, with at least 5 years of experience in Oracle Cloud implementations and transformations.

    • Proven experience in managing large-scale cloud migration projects, particularly with Oracle Cloud applications (e.g., Oracle ERP, HCM, CRM).

    • Strong understanding of cloud technologies, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and cloud security frameworks.

    • Experience in driving enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives and managing organizational change.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Cloud Applications (ERP, HCM, SCM, etc.), and Oracle’s ecosystem.

    • Knowledge of cloud integration, data management, and migration tools.

    • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, project management tools, and cloud adoption frameworks.

  • Leadership & Communication Skills:

    • Strong leadership abilities, with a proven track record of building and leading cross-functional teams.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

    • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, particularly with Oracle and other third-party partners.

  • Certifications (Preferred):

    • Oracle Cloud certification (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect, Oracle ERP Cloud certification).

    • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Agile/Scrum).
