General Description:

The Executive Director of Advanced Analytics will drive BeiGene’s vision for leveraging advanced analytics to support strategic decision-making and operational excellence across the global commercial organization. This leader will be pivotal in shaping and executing the company’s global commercial analytics strategy while fostering cross-functional collaboration and innovation. The role would be reporting to the head of Global Operations and Business Analytics. The key responsibilities include:

Strategic Analytics Leadership:

• Setting the vision and strategy for advanced analytics initiatives that align with BeiGene’s corporate goals and business priorities.

• Building and leading a high-performing analytics team, ensuring delivery of actionable insights and impactful solutions across market access, marketing, and business operations.

• Championing a culture of innovation, data-driven decision-making, and accountability.

Data-Driven Insights:

• Designing and implementing advanced analytics frameworks, including customer segmentation, predictive modeling, risk assessment, promotion response analysis, and patient journey mapping.

• Providing strategic input for commercial planning, market opportunity assessments, and product development.

• Leading the team synthesizing data from multiple sources, including market research, secondary data, and real-world evidence, to generate robust insights that guide strategic and tactical decisions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Partnering with leaders across marketing, market access, clinical, regulatory, finance, and sales to address complex business challenges and ensure alignment of analytics initiatives with organizational objectives.

• Collaborating with medical affairs and clinical trial teams to enhance program effectiveness and optimize resource allocation.

Innovative Technologies and Methodologies:

• Driving adoption of cutting-edge technologies such as machine learning, artificial intelligence, and GenAI solutions to improve efficiencies and uncover new opportunities.

• Staying at the forefront of industry trends in oncology and analytics to ensure BeiGene maintains a competitive edge.

Thought Leadership:

• Representing BeiGene as a thought leader at key industry events, conferences, and forums.

• Building strong relationships with external stakeholders, vendors, and key opinion leaders in the field of advanced analytics.

Team Development and Organizational Impact:

• Recruiting, mentoring, and retaining top analytics talent, fostering a high-performance culture within the team.

• Defining and tracking clear goals, KPIs, and metrics to measure the impact of analytics initiatives and align with corporate objectives.

• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and ethical guidelines in analytics practices.

Experience:

• BA or BS with concentration in Life Sciences, Marketing, or Business

• 15+ years of Expertise in commercial analytics. Experience in working with rare diseases and/or oncology datasets highly desired.

• 7+ years of Proven leadership experience in building and managing analytics teams in the biotech or pharmaceutical sector.

• Proficiency in advanced machine learning algorithms and AI-driven solutions.

• Demonstrated experience collaborating with non-commercial stakeholders.

• Familiarity with implementing and optimizing GenAI technologies in biotech or pharmaceutical settings.

• All years of work experience may be gained concurrently.

Salary Range: $215,400.00 - $295,400.00 annually

BeiGene is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation packages are determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location. Packages may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor. The recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for a preferred location during the hiring process.  Please note that the listed range reflects the base salary or hourly range only. Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
