We are currently looking for Credit Administration Officer to join our Credit Administration team, to perform credit administration functions that cover for the whole Peninsular Malaysia Business Units. Post Release (Bringing Loan) functions which includes issuance of Letters of Disclaimer, Letter of Confirmation for redemption sum, daily monitoring of the redemption proceeds for the projects, discharge of titles, HDA withdrawals, follow-up /
monitoring of covenants. This role reports to Team Lead, Credit Administration and the successful candidate will be based in PJ or Damansara City office.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for post release function- Bridging Loan team, to ensure deliverables are achieved within set standard.

  • Issuance of Letters of Disclaimer
  • Letter of Confirmation of Redemption sum as and when required
  • Letter of Authorisation for Discharge of titles
  • Managing receipt of redemption sum in centre’s collection account
  • Monitoring all active HDA accounts and process HDA withdrawal transactions

2. Monitor and ensure liaison with solicitor and ARM to ensure documentations are in order /perfected in accordance with internal policies and in line with regulatory and legal requirements. Alert immediate supervisor if there are issues of concern which requires further attention.

3. Ensure all work instructions and work task related documents are parked into Shared Folder immediately upon received. Any issues to escalate immediately to Supervisor/ Team Lead/ Center Head.

4. Responsible for the accuracy of data creation/maintenance for accounts under his/her portfolio.

5. Attend to customer’s request /issues, resolve and respond to it effectively. Checking and process HDA withdrawals (including e-HDA withdrawal) within stipulate TAT and Discharge of individual Titles

 
Job Requirements:

  • Malaysian citizen.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking/Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Candidates with 2-3 years of working experience in the financial industry with knowledge of loan documentation unit/credit administration is ideal.
  • We are also accepting applications from fresh graduates for this role as training will be provided.
  • Knowledge of commercial banking products and services as well as regulations governing commercial banking business and products is preferable.
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English, and ability to work effectively with people at different levels.
  • PC literate with knowledge in Microsoft Office Appliances.
