WHAT YOU’LL DO

 

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support the Executive Leadership Team at a.k.a. Brands while also assisting with investor relations and corporate communications. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple priorities with efficiency and discretion. This role requires exceptional communication skills, a high level of confidentiality, and the ability to anticipate the needs of senior executives. Additionally, the Executive Assistant must be adept at interacting with the Board of Directors and brand leaders, ensuring seamless coordination and communication at the highest levels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide high-level administrative support to executive team members, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, presentations, reports, and other documents as needed, with a strong emphasis on financial data and executive summaries.
  • Act as a liaison between executives, the Board of Directors, and internal/external brand leaders, ensuring timely communication and follow-ups.
  • Manage confidential and sensitive information with utmost discretion.
  • Coordinate and organize meetings, including agenda preparation, meeting minutes, and follow-up action items.
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives, supporting company goals and strategic priorities.
  • Handle expense reporting, invoice processing, and budget tracking for executives.
  • Conduct research and provide insights on key business topics as required.
  • Maintain office organization and ensure executives have the resources needed to perform effectively.
  • Assist in drafting and editing press releases, corporate announcements, and internal communications.
  • Coordinate media and analyst relations, ensuring timely responses and organized outreach.
  • Support the development and execution of corporate messaging and branding initiatives.
  • Monitor media coverage and provide relevant summaries to leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar high-level administrative role.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint for financial reporting and executive presentations.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Proven ability to support a global, remote team, with a focus on accommodating California and Australia time zones.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in decision-making.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, preferably in the retail or fashion industry.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Proven experience working closely with C-level executives, Board of Directors, and brand leaders.
