What about the job
- Lead a team of Project Engineers
- Coaching Project Engineers for improve their performances
- Select, lead, direct, evaluate, supervise and develop a team of professional engineers and technical managers and technical support staff to ensure that Industrial engineering operations are completed on-time, within budget, and on spec.
- Ensure consistent improvement of processes and implementation of tools that enables quality in the processes and deliveries.
- Work closely together with and support Engineering management on other E&S Departments.
- Engineer products and solutions for assigned projects
- Have complete end responsibility over assigned projects, including:
- All documents requested by Customer
- All documents requested by MWS (Module WorkShops) to be able to build the module
- All documents requested by AD (Automation Development) to be able to build the Control Panel and Software (functional specification)
- All documents requested by Class Society
- All documents requested by these rules (if applicable)- Machinery Directive (MD) 98/37/EC
- Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 97/23/EC
- Equipment Explosive Atmospheres Directive (ATEX) 2014/34/UE
- Factory Approval Test and/or Site Approval Test
- Complete Instruction book with all chapter updated
What you know
- Engineering degree at university level with 10 years’ experience in the role of Project Engineer (experience in managing team is valuable)
- Experience in the Marine, Engine Power, Energy or O&G industries will be an asset
- Knowledge of the Machinery- and ATEX Directive
- Inventor, Autocad 2D, Microsoft Office
- Good spoken and written English
