Exchange Operations Analyst II

Position Overview:

The Exchange Operations Analyst II plays a crucial role in the oversight and management of exchange operations within the organization. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who is adept at analyzing data, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and optimizing operational processes. The ideal candidate will bring a solid foundation of experience in exchange operations, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and oversee daily exchange operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
• Analyze operational metrics and data trends to identify areas of concern or opportunity, producing detailed reports for management review.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues, ensuring minimal disruption to exchange activities.
• Develop and implement process improvements and best practices to enhance operational performance and efficiency.
• Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at system enhancements and operational improvements, contributing expertise on exchange operations.
• Assist in training and onboarding new team members on operational procedures and tools.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices related to exchange operations.

Qualifications:

• Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in exchange operations, financial services, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on data interpretation and decision-making.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools; familiarity with trading platforms and exchange systems is a plus.

Preferred:

• Experience with automated workflow systems and tools specific to exchange operations.
• In-depth knowledge of compliance regulations, risk management practices, and industry standards.
• Certifications related to financial operations or compliance are a plus.
