The Role

Are you a detail-oriented, customer-focused individual who thrives in a dynamic environment? Do you have a passion for coordinating events and creating a welcoming atmosphere for visitors?

As Events and Executive Business Center (EBC) Manager, you will be responsible for organizing, executing, and hosting a variety of external and internal events, ensuring seamless logistics and an outstanding experience for all involved. You will often be the first point of contact for our company, providing exceptional service to visitors, customers, partners, investors and employees.

We are seeking someone who is enthusiastic, well-organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently. You will coordinate and manage site tours, internal and external events, and assist with office operations, all while creating a professional and inviting environment.

This role is located at our Santa Clara, CA headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with our CEO and Head of Communications to develop and lead the overarching event strategy and plans for each event, ensuring event participation advances business objectives to drive engagement, foster relationships, and support company growth.
  • Align cross-functional teams—including engineering, GTM, and executive leadership—to ensure events connect to strategic priorities and enhance business outcomes.
  • Create and execute comprehensive pre-event engagement campaigns, leveraging content and outreach strategies to maximize attendance and impact.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, contract negotiations, shipping logistics, and on-site execution to ensure seamless events. Manage event budgets, ensuring cost efficiency.
  • Coordinate procurement, inventory, and distribution of event materials and branded merchandise.
  • Develop backup plans to mitigate risks related to logistics, vendors, and last-minute changes.
  • Serve as the on-site lead for events, managing event execution, coordinating staff, and ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Manage and optimize the company’s Executive Briefing Center (EBC) to ensure it serves as a strategic platform for high-value discussions with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement metrics to assess event effectiveness, ensuring events deliver measurable business impact and align with KPIs.
  • Lead the development of presentations and event materials, ensuring they support strategic messaging and are tailored to the target audience.
  • Ensure stakeholder alignment across departments, from technical teams to business leaders, to ensure the right mix of expertise and clear objectives for each event.
  • Analyze post-event feedback and performance data to refine future event strategies, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with evolving business priorities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in heavy program and/or corporate event management experience, within a PM, Talent, or Administrative role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Experience with events’ risk management and planning to event requirements.
  • Proven ability to mobilize and motivate cross-functional teams toward program goals and execution.
  • Highly motivated teammate with excellent oral and written communication skills, professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to anticipate the needs of clients and colleagues, ensuring a positive and seamless experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and initiative.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, for events as needed.
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced, collaborative and dynamic start-up environment.
  • Willing to travel.
  • Must have and maintain US work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with large tech conference events.
  • Experience working with robotics or equivalent hardware products.
  • Familiarity with event management software or tools.
  • Experience hosting C-suite clients and/or tailoring experiences to audiences of all levels.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite strongly preferred; experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other common office software is helpful.

The base salary range for this position is $120,000-$155,000 plus equity and comprehensive benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and experience level. The range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the noted geographic area. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
