Job Description:

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a M&T Digital Data Integration for Engineering (f/m) to join our Digital Methods & Tools for Engineering department based in Marignane, France.

The mission of the department is to deliver enablers to boost the efficiency in Engineering while providing added value to our customers, in terms of Strategy, Transformation, Processes, Methods and Tools, and Ways of Working. 

We provide an End-To-End vision and transversal project management of needed enablers while fostering local initiatives within Engineering departments

As part of your role, you will be accountable to

  • Define ad-hoc development assurance level with regard to development risk.
  • Define system development logic consistent with development assurance level.
  • Validate system/product requirements whilst considering the complete system lifecycle.
  • Design and define possible architectures considering the functions and other requirements (constraints).
  • Lead system modelling using appropriate modelling methods and tools.
  • Lead analysis (Analysis of characteristics and performance).
  • Perform trade-off analysis in order to select the best system architecture fulfilling system/product requirements.
  • Validate architecture (using for example virtual integration techniques as necessary).
  • Define and manage interfaces requirements.
  • Lead verification of the system/product implementation and its interfaces, on the real or virtual system.
  • Lead operational and in-service evaluation.
  • Lead impact analysis of any design change request during the entire product lifecycle.

Your profile:

  • Skilled on 3DEXP products and data integration processes

  • Completed master's degree in engineering (aerospace engineering, mechanical or electrical engineering or comparable) with additional relevant experience and further education;

  • Alternatively: Completed bachelor's degree with extensive relevant experience and further education

  • Several years of professional experience in engineering and project management or equal

  • Knowledge of helicopter engineering, project management, agile work methods, accountability

  • The following completes your profile: Able to communicate and influence, team spirit and teamwork, synthesis and analysis, problem analysis and resolution, management and leadership

  • Language skills: English - business fluent; German - desirable; French as a plus

  • Regular business trips inside Europe could be required
